This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Darkstar Creative
Garage LLP, operating as Mango Creators, handles refunds and cancellations for our
video production and creative services. This policy complies with the Consumer
Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 of India.
1. Nature of Services
Mango Creators provides customized creative services including:
- YouTube channel management and growth consulting
- Video production and editing
- Podcast production
- Live streaming services
- Corporate and explainer video creation
As our services are customized and tailored to each client's requirements, they
differ from standard product purchases. This policy reflects the service-based nature of our
offerings.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Before Project Commencement
If you wish to cancel a project before any work has commenced:
- Full refund of any advance payment made, minus processing fees (if
applicable).
- Cancellation must be communicated in writing via email to [email protected].
2.2 After Project Commencement
Once work on a project has begun:
- Clients may cancel with a minimum 7 days written notice.
- Payment is due for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
- Any advance payment will be adjusted against work completed.
- If work completed exceeds the advance paid, the balance becomes due immediately.
2.3 Monthly Retainer Services
For ongoing monthly services (YouTube management, editing support):
- Cancel with 15 days notice before the next billing cycle.
- Payments for the current month are non-refundable.
- Services continue until the end of the paid period.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Project not started: Full refund of advance payment (minus any processing
fees).
- Service not delivered: If we fail to deliver agreed services, a pro-rata
refund will be processed.
- Quality issues: If deliverables significantly deviate from agreed
specifications and cannot be rectified.
3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Work completed and approved by the client.
- Change of mind after project commencement.
- Delays caused by client's failure to provide required materials, feedback, or approvals.
- External factors such as platform algorithm changes or video performance metrics.
- Cancellation without proper notice period.
3.3 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be considered when:
- A project is cancelled mid-way (refund calculated based on work not yet completed).
- Only some deliverables in a package are completed.
- Mutual agreement between client and Mango Creators.
4. Revision Policy
Before requesting a refund, please note our revision policy:
- Most projects include 2-3 rounds of revisions (as specified in your
agreement).
- Revisions must be within the original project scope.
- We encourage clients to utilize revision rounds to ensure satisfaction before project
completion.
- Additional revisions beyond the agreed number may incur extra charges.
5. Refund Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund

- Include your project details, reason for refund, and relevant documentation.
- Our team will review your request within 7 business days.
- You will receive a written response with the decision and any applicable refund amount.
5.2 Refund Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
- Bank processing times may vary (typically 5-7 additional business days).
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision:
- Request a review by emailing our management team.
- We will arrange a discussion to understand your concerns.
- We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 30 days.
- Unresolved disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
7. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.):
- Projects may be paused without penalty to either party.
- Alternative arrangements will be discussed in good faith.
- Pro-rata refunds may be considered based on circumstances.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on
this page. The policy applicable to your project is the one in effect at the time of your
agreement.
